Racer Game

The game is developed Unity and is a 2D strategy racing game with spilt screen multiplayer. Players can customize their car and decide their strategy based on angle of the road, distance from the finish line and distance from the second player. Next they can place obstacles and power ups on the map to either help them or sabotage the other players car in order to win the race.

The game is developed in a team of 4 and I was the lead programmer. I was responsible for the implementation of the game mechanics and the game logic. I worked on the UI, HUD, implementation of the obstacle placement mechanic, parallax effect, base prototype and split screen.

As the lead programmer I also oversaw the work of other programmers while contributing to the final decisions relating to the game design and the game mechanics and helping the newer programmers to become familiar with the Unity engine and game development cycles.
